On April 16, 2025, “Kyoto Language Academy” officially opened.
Having been certified as the first [Accredited Japanese Language Education Institution] in Kyoto by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology, we are fully prepared as a new place of learning to welcome international students from around the world.
In an environment where the traditions and culture of Kyoto Nishijin are alive, we aim to nurture individuals who can learn living Japanese and play active roles in global society.
On the first day of opening, students from around the world enrolled and were excited about learning in the new environment. The ability to view the townscape of Nishijin from the classrooms, to study while feeling the seasonal beauty of Kyoto, and to engage in outdoor learning that allows students to feel the “local breath” through community partnerships are major features of Kyoto Language Academy.
We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to all those who have provided tremendous support and cooperation for this opening. We also extend our deep appreciation to the students who have taken on the new challenge of student life in Japan, and to their families.
Under the educational philosophy of “supporting international students coming to Japan to envision their dreams and play active roles in Japanese and global society,” Kyoto Language Academy will do its utmost to build a foundation that supports each individual’s future dreams, beyond merely teaching Japanese language.
Through education that emphasizes practical language skills, careful career guidance, and comprehensive life support, we will provide an environment where students can concentrate on their studies with peace of mind.

2025年4月16日、「京都ランゲージアカデミー」が正式に開校いたしました。
文部科学省より京都初となる【認定日本語教育機関】として認定も受けており、
世界各国からの留学生を迎える新たな学びの場としての準備も整っております。
京都西陣の伝統と文化が息づく環境の中で、
生きた日本語を学び、グローバル社会で活躍できる人材の育成を目指してまいります。
開校初日には世界各国からの学生たちが入学し、新しい環境での学びに期待を膨らませていました。
教室からは西陣の町並みを一望でき、京都の四季折々の美しさを感じながら学習できる環境や
地域と連携した「地元の息遣い」を感じられる野外学習ができることも
京都ランゲージアカデミーの大きな特徴です。
この度の開校にあたり、多大なるご支援とご協力をいただいた関係者の皆様に心より感謝申し上げます。
また、日本での留学生活という新たな挑戦に踏み出してくれた学生たちと、そのご家族にも深く御礼申し上げます。
