Visit to Japanese Language Schools and Agents in Nepal
Kyoto Language Academy recently conducted an on-site visit to Kathmandu and Hetauda in Nepal with the aim of further strengthening our student support system and enhancing the quality of Japanese language education.
During this visit, we engaged in a wide range of activities, including visits to local Japanese language schools, meetings and information exchange with partner agents, and observations of local facilities and classroom instruction.
By observing actual classroom environments and teaching methods firsthand, we were able to gain a deeper understanding of the dedication and motivation of students studying Japanese in Nepal, as well as their learning conditions prior to coming to Japan.
In addition, our stay provided valuable opportunities to experience daily life in Nepal.
By learning about the local living environment and economic realities, we gained important insights into perspectives that must be carefully considered when supporting students during their studies in Japan.
Understanding the diverse backgrounds and circumstances of students who aspire to study in Japan has been a significant learning experience for us as an institution.
Through direct interaction with local students, we were able to hear their strong aspirations for studying in Japan and their future goals. These conversations helped clarify areas where we can further improve and refine our educational and support systems.
Listening closely to the voices of students proved to be an extremely meaningful experience and a valuable opportunity to reflect deeply on how we, as a school, can continue to provide appropriate and compassionate support.
Moving forward, Kyoto Language Academy will continue to address the various challenges students may face—including Japanese language learning, academic pathways after graduation, and daily life during their studies—by working collectively as a school to ensure that every student can pursue their studies in Japan with confidence and peace of mind.
With sincerity and a positive outlook, we remain committed to creating an environment that enables each student to have a truly fulfilling and rewarding study-abroad experience in Japan.
ネパール現地校およびエージェント訪問を行いました。
京都ランゲージアカデミーでは、今後の受け入れ体制の向上と日本語教育の充実を目的として、ネパールのカトマンズおよびヘタウダを訪問し、現地の日本語学校やエージェントの皆様と意見交換を行いました。
今回の視察では学校訪問をはじめ、担当者の方々との情報交換、現地施設や授業の見学など、多岐にわたる取り組みを行いました。
実際の教室の雰囲気や授業の進め方を間近で見学することで、現地で日本語学習に励む学生の姿勢や熱意、来日前の様子を知ることができました。
また滞在中にはネパールのリアルな暮らしに触れる機会にも恵まれました。
生活環境や経済面の実情を知ることで、日本での学びをサポートするにあたり、より深く理解すべき視点があることに気づかされました。
学生たちがどのような背景を持って日本を目指しているのかを知ることは、私たちにとって非常に大きな学びとなりました。
現地学生との交流では、日本留学への強い思いや将来の目標を直接聞くことができ、私たちが取り組むべき課題や改善点がより明確になりました。
学生たちの声に耳を傾ける時間は、大変有意義で、学校として今後の支援のあり方を深く考える貴重な機会と感じています。
今後も日本語学習、卒業後の進学、留学中の生活など、学生が直面する課題に寄り添いながら、安心して充実した留学生活を送れるよう、学校全体で取り組んでまいります。
学生一人ひとりにとって、より実りある日本留学となるよう、引き続き誠実に前向きに環境づくりを進めていく所存です。
