ネパール洪水被害の街頭救援募金を行いました。

京都ランゲージアカデミーでは、このたびネパールで発生した大規模洪水被害に対する支援として、堀川中立売交差点周辺にて街頭救援募金活動を実施いたしました。

ご通行中の地域の皆様をはじめ、多くの関係各位より多大なる温かいご支援とお声がけをいただきましたことに、教職員・学生一同、心より深く御礼申し上げます。

本校には、ネパールをはじめ世界各国から多くの留学生が在籍し、日々学びを深めております。
今回の災害発生を受け、母国やご家族の安否を案じる学生たちの強い想いから、校内での支援呼びかけにとどまらず、地域社会へと支援の輪を広げる街頭募金活動を企画いたしました。

当日はネパール出身の留学生をはじめ、趣旨に賛同したクラスメイトや教職員が一体となり、手作りの啓発看板を掲げて心を込めて支援を呼びかけました。

初めて街頭に立つ学生たちは当初緊張の面持ちを見せておりましたが、足を止めて優しくお声がけくださる地域の皆様や、温かいお心を募金箱へ届けてくださる方々の存在が、学生たちに大きな勇気と笑顔をもたらしてくれました。

「遠い国で起きたことだけれど、心から応援しているよ」という皆様一人ひとりからの温かいお言葉は、母国を心配する留学生はもちろん、私たち教職員の心にも深く染み渡りました。
単なる支援活動にとどまらず、留学生が京都の地域社会の温もりと繋がりを肌で実感し、地域の一員としての自覚と感謝の精神を育む、大変意義深い学びの機会となりました。

皆様からお寄せいただいた貴重なご支援は、被災した本校留学生のご家族への直接支援、および現地の信頼できる支援団体へ全額責任を持ってお届けいたします。
なお、集計結果および現地への送金完了のご報告につきましては、手続きが完了次第、速やかに本公式Webサイトにて公表・ご報告申し上げます。

Kyoto Language Academy recently conducted a street fundraising campaign near the Horikawa-Nakadachiuri intersection to provide relief for the victims of the catastrophic flooding in Nepal.

We would like to extend our deepest gratitude to the members of our local community, passersby, and all related parties who offered their warm encouragement and generous support to our faculty, staff, and students.

Our academy is home to many international students from Nepal and various countries around the world, all striving diligently in their daily studies. Following this tragic disaster, driven by the strong desire of our students who were deeply concerned for the safety of their families and homeland, we organized this fundraising initiative to extend our circle of support beyond the campus and into the local community.

On the day of the campaign, Nepalese students, joined by classmates and faculty members who resonated with the cause, stood together with handmade signs to appeal for support from the heart. Although standing on the street for the first time initially brought a sense of nervous tension, the warmth of local residents who stopped to offer kind words and contribute to the donation box brought great courage and smiles to our students’ faces.

Heartfelt words such as “Though it happened far away, I am sincerely supporting you” resonated deeply not only with the students worried about their home country, but also with our entire faculty and staff. Beyond being a relief activity, this experience served as a deeply meaningful learning opportunity where our students directly felt the warmth and interconnectedness of the Kyoto community, fostering a sense of belonging as local members and a spirit of gratitude.

All valuable contributions received from everyone will be delivered in full with complete accountability—both as direct assistance to the families of our affected students and through donations to reliable local relief organizations in Nepal.

A detailed report regarding the total amount collected and the completion of the remittance will be published on this official website as soon as all procedures are finalized.

京都語言學院為支援近日於尼泊爾發生之大規模洪災，特於堀川中立賣十字路口周邊進行了街頭救援募款活動。

對於行經該處並給予溫暖鼓勵與慷慨解囊的在地居民及各界人士，本校全體教職員與學生在此致上最深沉的謝意。

本校現有眾多來自尼泊爾及世界各地的留學生，每日皆在此努力求學。本次災害發生後，出於留學生們對母國與家人安危的深切牽掛，本校不僅於校內發起援助號召，更進一步企劃了將支援之環擴展至在地社會的街頭募款活動。

活動當日，以尼泊爾籍留學生為首，包含認同活動宗旨的同班同學及教職員全體一心，高舉手製宣導看板，由衷呼籲大眾給予支援。首次站在街頭的學生們起初難掩緊張之情，然而在地居民紛紛停下腳步給予親切問候，並將溫暖的心意投入募款箱中，這些舉動帶給了學生們莫大的勇氣與笑容。

「雖然是發生在遠方國家的事，但我由衷為你們加油」這類來自每一位民眾的溫馨話語，不僅深刻撫慰了焦慮母國的留學生，也深深打動了我們全體教職員的心。這不僅止於一場支援活動，更是一次極具意義的學習契機，讓留學生們親身感受到了京都在地社會的溫情與連結，從而培養出作為社區一員的自覺與感恩之心。

各位所捐贈的寶貴善款，本校將全額負責地用於直接支援受災之本校留學生家庭，並轉交至當地值得信賴的支援團體。

關於募款結算結果及當地匯款完成之正式報告，將待各項手續完成後，第一時間於本官方網站公開報告。
